Hello friends and welcome! I’m Kim- wife, mum, radiographer and cookier.
I began making and selling cookies in 2021 under ‘Raising for Hughie & Teddy’ after the tragic loss of our two sons. In 2019 our second born Hughie was stillborn at 40 weeks gestation and in 2021 our third born Teddy was stillborn at 25 weeks gestation. In the aftermath of Teddy’s death, my husband and I started fundraising for a cuddle cot through Bears of Hope. With the generosity of our family, friends and wider community we were able to fund and donate 3 cots to Australian hospitals in loving memory of our boys. When donations started to slow down, I began baking and decorating sugar cookies with 100% of my profits going directly to our cuddle cot fundraiser. So far, the cookie profits have raised enough funds for another 2 cuddle cots which have been lovingly donated to hospitals who need them.
We are now The Still Raising Project, a not-for-profit business, continuing to donate all our profits from cookie sales to Bears of Hope cuddle cots. We welcome you to join us on our journey by enjoying some of my delicious, hand-made, bespoke sugar cookies!
